Our entire family absolutely loves raising our adorable Ragdoll kittens with their purr-fect puppy personalities. Our kittens love to be in the middle of whatever the kids are doing; they even like to be held like babies and most don’t mind playing dress-up. Ragdoll cats make a wonderful addition to any home environment, but unlike many other cat breeds, they thrive in homes with children and other pets. Having a Ragdoll is like having a dog, but without the responsibility of potty training or coming home multiple times a day to let them out. Just like dogs, Ragdolls will be waiting for you at the door when you come home, they will follow you around, and they even enjoy a game of fetch.
Consistent Care and Attention
Our Ragdoll kittens are extremely well-socialized because they are raised in our home with our family. With four kids, we have lots of activity and noise, which creates the perfect environment for kittens to grow up in. When your kitten comes home, they won’t be afraid of an active toddler or even something as small as the sound of the TV. As a stay-at-home mom and a homeschooling family, we are able to provide our kittens with constant interaction and lots of playtime with our kids, including toddlers. Your new kitten will be well-prepared to adjust to living in their new home.

At Bayou Ragdolls Cattery, every Ragdoll is chosen first for health, followed by temperament and pedigree. Our Ragdoll queens and studs are evaluated, and only those with perfect temperaments are kept to pass on those traits to their kittens. We follow the breed standards set by TICA and CFA to ensure we are breeding to the highest standards and continuing preservation breeding. Our Ragdolls come from long lines of champions as well as international import bloodlines. Our goal is to breed for diversity and healthy bloodlines while ensuring every kitten has the true Ragdoll personality.
Health and Well-being
Our Ragdoll queens and studs are genetically tested to ensure we are only breeding healthy parents and producing healthy kittens. All of our kittens will go home with a full comprehensive exam given by our veterinarian as well as being up to date on all preventives. Our kittens will also come home to you already spayed and neutered.
We feed our Ragdolls high-quality diets by offering a variety of different foods. We provide soft/wet food from Tiki, Applaws, and Blue Buffalo. We also add grain free, freeze-dried, from Stella & Chewy and Instinct to their diet. Our cats always have access to Royal Canin Ragdoll formula, and our kittens have access to Science Diet Kitten at all times. We understand that everyone has preferences for food and different lifestyles. By exposing our kittens to multiple types of food early on, we hope to make it easier for you to transition your kitten to whatever suits your home.
